About Me: After a career at Columbia Pictures, I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to do work that made a difference in children’s lives. I have been teaching at St. Ephrem School since 2004, beginning as the Jr. High Science teacher, spending 10 years in 4th grade, and now returning to Junior High as the ELA teacher. I get to spend my days encouraging students to love reading and writing.
“The important thing is not so much that every child should be taught, as that every child should be given the wish to learn.”—John Lubbock
